Music Video Progression Screening (Focus Group)

This video consist of the progression screening of the music videos editing as we pitched it to a focus group to receive feedback as to points which stood out and parts we can improve upon. In this we showed the parts we had edited (second verse chorus) and after explained the concept of the video.

Positives

• Storyline made sense
• Range of locations and castings
• Editing (Outline & Text effects)
• Shot transitions
• Camera quality (exposure)
• Lighting in each shot

Point of Improvement

• Lip-sync slightly off in some shots
• Text effect font looks slightly feminine so change it to something more appropriate
• Continue the line effect in all of the parts captured in the studio

Evaluation
In this task we were challenged in making a second lip-sync music video we chose to do J hus "Friendly" as this was an easy song in which we all knew. The location that we used to shoot this was the field in LSC during the day-time. The use of this was to have a preview of us working as a group and seeing if we all worked well together. In this the roles was;
