Filming 101

In this lesson I learnt a basic command of how to setup and use the camera in preparation for the music video coursework. For this we used a canon 700D. In this I learnt about how focus the camera to different areas by looking at the white balance and exposure to acquaint to light and dark areas. In this I also learnt about how to control the exposure by the shutter that changes the rate in which images are captured, Aperture which can he edited to acquaint to the location and ISO which is set between 100-1600. In this I also learnt about the video quality that would be used as it would be filmed in 1080p at 25fps to allow a polished camera quality.
In this session I also learnt about the use of the tripod in relation to the camera as this would allow the camera to remain level as all times reducing the chance of a shaky effect. In this session I also learnt about how the focus of the camera should be at MF (manual focus) as this allows me to edit the zoom of the camera freely and be able to tailor it to the persons position.  For the picture style it should be on neutral as this would allow me to perform post edits to the film in editing and the white balance should be set to automatic tho allow the camera base the lighting off the environment.
