3D Text Effect (10/11/16)

One of the other effects that we looked into was the inclusion of 3D text to narrate the words sung by the artist appearing on screen this is usually done in lyrical video where the text would appear on the screen as the artist sings it. This is usually done with the use of the rule of third where the main actor is not positioned directly in front but, is positioned to the right or left hand side of the grid and never in the centre. The benefits of doing this is that their would be space on the side to edit upon. This method is based on the Kendrick Lamar swimming pool as he used the rule of thirds in his shots in placing a character to the left or right of the central frame. However the lyric style is based of looking into research videos as they usually provide two versions so, if no one knew a specific verse and wanted to sing along to the verse the lyrics would be on screen in the time of the artist sings the song. This is going to be featured in the rapping verse of the song as that is faster part of the song and would benefit from the words being of screen at the pace of his singing. This is most notable in Kanye West ft T-Pain song 'Good Life' as they use a more cartoon and animated approach to display parts of the chorus on the screen as they say it.
